    To reach Faeroes by car from any point in Streymoy Island, first locate the main road, Route 10, which runs along the east coast of the island. Drive south towards Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. Once in Tórshavn, follow the signs to the ferry terminal located at Norðhavnar, where you will need to take a ferry to the nearby islands.
