To reach Faeroes by car from any point in Streymoy Island, first locate the main road, Route 10, which runs along the east coast of the island. Drive south towards Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. Once in Tórshavn, follow the signs to the ferry terminal located at Norðhavnar, where you will need to take a ferry to the nearby islands. Be sure to check the ferry schedule in advance as they can vary. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost around 80 DKK per person. Once you arrive at the designated island, follow local road signs to Faeroes.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Tórshavn to the ferry terminal. Bus lines operated by 'SSL' (Strandfaraskip Landsins) run regularly from Tórshavn to the terminal. Purchase your bus ticket at the bus station or on the bus itself; the fare is approximately 30 DKK. After arriving at the ferry terminal, board the ferry to the islands, which takes about 30 minutes. The ferry ticket can be purchased at the terminal, costing around 80 DKK per person. Once you arrive at the island, local buses or taxis can be used to reach Faeroes.
