Walking
From the center of Tórshavn, head towards the waterfront along the main street, Yviri við Strond. Continue walking straight, following the signs towards Skansin. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the Skansin area, which is located at the end of the street. Look for the distinctive fortification structures and enjoy the view of the harbor.
Public Transport (Bus)
Start at the Tórshavn bus terminal, located near the center of the city. Take bus number 1 or 2 that goes towards the Skansin area. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Skansin.' From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the waterfront to reach the historical landmark.
