    From the center of Tvøroyri, start at the main square, which is a good landmark. Head southwest on the main road, Gøtuvegur. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Vøttanesvegur. Turn left onto Vøttanesvegur and continue straight. As you walk, you will see beautiful views of the surrounding hills and the fjord. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Tórshavn pointing to the right. Follow this sign and take the right turn onto Gundadalsvegur. The National Gallery of The Faroe Islands will be located on your right at number 9 Gundadalsvegur. It is a distinctive building, and you should see the entrance clearly marked.
