Getting There

Walking
From the center of Tvøroyri, head north on the main road, Strandgøta. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the ferry terminal. Turn left onto the ferry terminal road and continue for another 200 meters. You will see a bus stop on your right. Keep walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the Tórshavn ferry terminal. From there, you will take a ferry to Tórshavn, which is the capital of the Faroe Islands.

Once you arrive at Tórshavn, disembark from the ferry and follow the signs towards the city center. Walk straight along the waterfront promenade until you reach the main road, which is called Niels Finsens Gøta. Turn left and continue walking for about 300 meters. At the next intersection, turn right onto Gundadalsvegur. The National Gallery of The Faroe Islands will be located on your left at number 9, approximately 200 meters from the intersection.
