Car
If you are traveling by car from any location in Vágar, head towards the main road (Route 40) that connects the island of Vágar to the capital, Tórshavn. Follow Route 40 for approximately 36 kilometers. As you approach Tórshavn, look for signs directing you to the city center. Once in Tórshavn, continue on the main road until you reach Gongin Street. Visit Faroe Islands is located at 9 Gongin, which is just off the main road, and parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, catch the bus from Vágar to Tórshavn. The bus service is operated by Strandfaraskip Landsins. You can find the bus stop at the airport or in the village of Sørvágsvatn. The bus will take you directly to the Tórshavn bus terminal. From the bus terminal, it's about a 15-minute walk to Visit Faroe Islands. Simply head east on Vagsbrekka, then turn left onto Gongin Street, and you will find the location at 9 Gongin.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from anywhere in Vágar to Visit Faroe Islands. Taxis are readily available at the airport and in other populated areas. The fare from the airport to Tórshavn can vary, but expect to pay around 400-600 DKK. The taxi will drop you off right at 9 Gongin, ensuring a hassle-free arrival.
