Car
If you are traveling by car in Vágar, start by heading towards the village of Sørvágur. From Sørvágur, take Route 40 north towards the village of Miðvágur. Continue on Route 40 until you reach the junction for Route 43. Turn left onto Route 43 and follow it towards Kollafjørður. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will arrive at Kollafjørður. Once in Kollafjørður, look for Á Miðgerði street. VisitHOMES Á Miðgerði is located at ÁMiðgerði 6, which will be on your left. There is no parking fee in the area, but ensure you park legally.
Public Transportation
For visitors using public transportation, check the bus schedule for the local routes. You can catch a bus from the Vágar Airport or from Tórshavn to Sørvágur. From Sørvágur, take Bus 300 to Miðvágur. Once you arrive at Miðvágur, you will need to transfer to Bus 301 towards Kollafjørður. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop to Kollafjørður. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 1 kilometer) to Á Miðgerði 6. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for exact timings, as services may vary.
