Walking
From the center of Vágur, head northeast on the main road (Road 1) towards the village of Haldarsvík. The walk is approximately 13 kilometers and will take around 3 hours. As you walk, you'll enjoy scenic views of the surrounding hills and coastal landscapes. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Haldarsvík, and once you arrive in the village, continue toward the eastern end of the village where you will find Fossá. The trail leading to the waterfall is well-marked and accessible.

Rent a bicycle in Vágur and take the main road (Road 1) heading northeast towards Haldarsvík. The distance is about 13 kilometers, and biking will take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on your speed. Follow the road signs to Haldarsvík, and as you approach the village, look for the path leading towards the eastern side where Fossá is located. Make sure to bring water and snacks for your trip.

Check the local bus schedule at the Vágur bus station. You can take a bus that heads towards Haldarsvík. The journey usually takes about 20-30 minutes.
