Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the Vágur town center. From the main square, head towards the harbor and follow the path along the water. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the main road, Route 10. Turn left onto Route 10 and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the signpost for Hvannhagi. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a path leading uphill on your right. Follow this path, which is well-marked, and continue to walk for about 30 minutes until you reach Hvannhagi.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Vágur. From the rental place, head towards the harbor and take the scenic route along the coastline. Follow the same route as described for walking, but you can cycle along Route 10. Remember to pedal carefully as the road can be narrow at times. After approximately 1 kilometer, look for the signpost directing you to Hvannhagi and take the path leading uphill on your right. Cycle up the hill for about 30 minutes until you arrive at your destination.
