Walking
Start at the center of Vágur, near the church (Vágur Church). From here, head northeast towards the coastal road (Road 40). Follow this road as it winds along the coastline, enjoying the scenic views. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the village of Gasadalur. As you enter Gasadalur, look for a sign indicating the direction to Múlafossur Waterfall. Continue walking straight. The path will lead you toward the edge of the village, where you will find a well-marked hiking trail. Follow this trail for about 20-30 minutes; it will take you directly to Múlafossur Waterfall, which is located at the end of the trail overlooking the stunning cliffs and the ocean.
Public Transport
From Vágur, catch the local bus heading to Gasadalur. The bus stop is located near the Vágur Church. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Gasadalur, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, follow the walking directions provided above: Look for the signs leading to Múlafossur Waterfall, and take the well-marked hiking trail from the village towards the waterfall, which should take about 20-30 minutes.
