Walking
From the center of Vágur, head north on the main road, Route 1. Continue walking for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the village of Tórshavn. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, look for signs directing you to Gundadalsvegur. Turn left onto Gundadalsvegur and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. The National Gallery of The Faroe Islands will be on your right at 9 Gundadalsvegur. It’s a good idea to ask locals for directions along the way, as they can provide helpful tips and insights.

Start at the bus stop in Vágur. Take Bus Line 1 towards Tórshavn. Buses run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The bus ride to Tórshavn will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, disembark at the bus terminal. From the bus terminal, walk to Gundadalsvegur, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head left out of the terminal, walk down to the main road, and turn left onto Gundadalsvegur. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will find The National Gallery of The Faroe Islands on your right at 9 Gundadalsvegur.
