Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Vágur village center. Head north on the main road (Sørvágsvøttur) towards the coast. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters until you reach the first intersection. Turn right at the intersection onto the road leading to the harbor. Follow this road for another 300 meters until you see the ferry terminal. From there, look for the sign for public transportation or local buses heading towards Tórshavn.

    Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, board a bus to Tórshavn. The buses are usually marked and will have schedules posted. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Tórshavn, disembark at the main bus station.

  • Walking

    From the bus station in Tórshavn, head southeast on Norðari Ringvegur. Walk for about 1 kilometer (approximately 15-20 minutes). The Nordic House will be on your right side at number 14. Look for a modern building with a cultural center sign.
