Start from the Vágur village center. Head north on the main road (Sørvágsvøttur) towards the coast. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters until you reach the first intersection. Turn right at the intersection onto the road leading to the harbor. Follow this road for another 300 meters until you see the ferry terminal. From there, look for the sign for public transportation or local buses heading towards Tórshavn.
