Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in central Ba, start at the Ba Town Market, which is a well-known landmark. From the market, head southwest on Vunibau Street towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Kings Road (the main highway). Cross the road carefully and take the bus stop nearby. Look for a minibus heading to Lautoka. These minibuses are frequent and will drop you off along the Kings Road. Once you arrive in Lautoka, get off when you see the Lautoka City Council building. From there, walk towards Yawini Street, which is just a short distance away. Follow Yawini Street until you reach Churchill Park, which will be on your left. The walk from the bus stop to Churchill Park should take about 15 minutes.

• Bus

  Start from Ba Town, either at the Ba Town Market or any other central location. Walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Lautoka. Buses to Lautoka are common and should not take long to arrive. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you would like to go to Lautoka. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. After arriving in Lautoka, get off at the bus station. From the bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Churchill Park. If walking, head towards Yawini Street and follow the guidance provided above for walking directions.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Ba. Start from the Ba Town Market and cycle towards the Kings Road. Once at the Kings Road, head west towards Lautoka. Be sure to follow the road signs. The ride is about 20 kilometers and should take around an hour depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching Lautoka, navigate to Yawini Street and follow it until you arrive at Churchill Park. Cycling is a great way to see the beautiful scenery along the route.
