Walking
From the center of Rakiraki, head south on the main road (Queens Road). Walk along this road for approximately 10 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of the Fijian countryside. Keep an eye out for local signs directing to Tubarua. You will eventually come across a small sign indicating the path to Vuwa Falls. Once you reach the sign for Vuwa Falls, take the path that leads into the wooded area. This path can be muddy and steep in places, so be careful and wear appropriate footwear. Follow the trail for about 1 kilometer until you reach the base of Vuwa Falls. The sound of the waterfall will guide you as you approach.
Public Transport
From Rakiraki, you can take a local bus towards Tubarua. Bus fares typically range from $1 to $3 Fijian dollars for this route. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Vuwa Falls junction. From there, follow the walking directions to reach the falls. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the way to Vuwa Falls, which is located at the coordinates 529R+5P4, Unnamed Road, Tubarua. The journey may take approximately 1-2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.
