If you're driving from Suva, take the Queens Road (Highway 1) towards Sigatoka. After approximately 60 km, turn onto the road leading to Naroro. Continue for about 10 km until you see signs for Tavuni Hill Fort. The fort is located at VG9R+C5M, Naroro, which is also marked on maps. Make sure to park in the designated area. Note that there may be a small entrance fee for visiting the fort.
Public Transportation
To reach Tavuni Hill Fort using public transport, take a bus from Suva to Sigatoka. The journey takes around 2 hours. Once you arrive in Sigatoka, switch to a local bus heading towards Naroro. The local bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off near Tavuni Hill Fort. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance. Taxi
For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Sigatoka to Tavuni Hill Fort. This option will cost more than public transport but will provide a quicker and more comfortable journey. The drive from Sigatoka to the fort takes about 20 minutes. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey, as taxi meters may not always be used.
