Public Transport

To reach Nabukavesi Waterfall via public transport, first, take a bus from Suva or Levuka to the nearest town to Nabukavesi. From your accommodation, ask for the nearest bus stop and take a local bus heading to Vunisea. The bus fare is typically around FJD 5. Once you arrive, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a private ride to get you closer to the waterfall. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost about FJD 15-20. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of Nabukavesi Waterfall. Be prepared to pay a small entry fee, usually around FJD 10, to access the waterfall area.

If you have access to a car, start your journey from the main town in Lau Islands, such as Suva or Levuka. Head towards the V63H+5Q8 coordinates, which are approximately 30 km from Suva. Follow the main road until you reach the junction leading to the Nabukavesi area. The road may become narrow and bumpy, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions. Upon reaching the junction, look for signs indicating the path to Nabukavesi Waterfall. There is a small parking area where you can leave your car. There may be a small fee for parking, usually around FJD 10.
