Ferry
The most common way to reach the Mamanuca Islands is by ferry from Port Denarau. Several companies, including South Sea Cruises and Malolo Cat, operate daily services to various resorts. Ferries depart multiple times a day, with यात्रा times ranging from 1 to 3 hours depending on the destination. A one-way ticket costs approximately FJ$78 to FJ$318 depending on the island and ferry operator. Check-in is typically one hour before departure. Confirm departure times with the operator at least 24 hours in advance.
Water Taxi
For a more flexible and direct transfer, consider a water taxi from Port Denarau. Mamanuca Express offers 24-hour service to resorts in the Mamanucas. While more expensive than ferries, water taxis offer greater convenience, especially for late arrivals or early departures. Prices vary depending on the destination and number of passengers. As a general guide, expect to pay between FJ$400 to FJ$1,190 for a group of 1-4 people. A surfboard fee of FJ$80.00 may apply.
