Kula WILD Adventure Park: Fiji's Wild Side

Kula WILD Adventure Park, located in Korotogo near Sigatoka on Fiji's main island of Viti Levu, is a 28-acre ecological preserve and family fun park showcasing Fiji's spectacular flora and fauna. Originally established as a bird park in the 1980s, it was transformed in 1997 into the Kula WILD Adventure Park. The park is set in three valleys, with 12 acres of coastal forest accessible to visitors via an extensive system of wooden walkways, bridges, and rest areas. Visitors can explore walk-through enclosures that house resident parrots, doves, water birds, fruit bats, and reptiles. Marine displays reveal the underwater world surrounding Fiji's 300+ islands, with exhibits of ocean turtles, soft and hard coral, and tropical fish. Interactive experiences include hand-feeding Hawksbill sea turtles at scheduled times and photo opportunities with Fijian wildlife like iguanas and snakes. For those seeking adventure, the park offers Fiji's only roller-coaster zip rail and jungle water slide. Children can enjoy the Kula Kiddies' Splash Pool and the 'Ranger for a Day' program, which allows them to shadow park rangers. Kula WILD Adventure Park is dedicated to preserving Fiji's natural heritage through captive breeding programs for endangered species like the Fiji crested iguana and Fiji banded iguana. The park also focuses on environmental education for local children.
