Getting there

Walking

From the center of Waila City, head towards the main road. Walk along this road, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to Lower Pools. The walk is approximately 3 kilometers and passes through residential areas and local shops. As you approach Lower Pools, look for a small path on your right that leads into a wooded area. Follow this path directly to Lower Pools. There is no cost for walking.

Public Transport

Take a local bus from Nausori to Waila City; buses run regularly. The fare is approximately FJD 5. From Waila City, you may need to hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing service to reach Lower Pools. The taxi fare from Waila City center to Lower Pools should be around FJD 20-30, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. Confirm the fare before starting your ride.

Car

If driving, head towards Waila City. From Labasa, take the B46 road south for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Waila City. Once in Waila City, follow the signs for Unnamed Road, where Lower Pools is located. There are no parking fees, but ensure you park safely and consider local traffic regulations.
