    Getting There

    Car

    From any location in Northern Division, head towards the town of Lautoka. If you're in Suva or Nadi, take the Queens Road heading west. Once you reach Lautoka, follow the signs to the Koroyanitu National Park. The entrance is located about 20 kilometers from Lautoka. After reaching the entrance, park your vehicle in the designated parking area. Note: There may be a small entrance fee to the park, typically around FJD 10-20.

    Public Transportation

    Take a local bus from your location in Northern Division to Lautoka. Buses frequently operate along the main routes and should cost approximately FJD 2-5. Once in Lautoka, ask for a bus or taxi to Koroyanitu National Park. The taxi ride from Lautoka to the park entrance will typically cost around FJD 25-30. After reaching the park entrance, you will need to walk to the start of the hiking trail to Mount Koroyanitu, which is clearly marked.

    Hiking

    Once you have parked your vehicle or arrived at the park entrance, prepare for a hike. The trail to Mount Koroyanitu begins just past the entrance. The hike is moderately challenging and can take approximately 2-3 hours to reach the summit. Make sure to carry water, snacks, and wear appropriate footwear. Along the way, enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape, and take care on steeper sections of the trail.
