From the market, head southeast along the main road (Wai Tui Road), which runs parallel to the waterfront. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the road leading up to the hills. Look for signs pointing towards 'Peak Mountain' or 'Hiking Trails'.

  • Walking

At the intersection, turn left onto the dirt road that leads uphill. This road may be steep, so take your time and enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape. Continue following the path for about 2 kilometers as it winds through local villages and lush greenery, keeping an eye out for any directional signs that indicate the way to Peak Mountain.

  • Walking

As you approach Peak Mountain, you will come to a trailhead that is marked with a sign. Here, there are usually local guides available who can provide assistance. The trail itself is well-trodden but can be challenging; it’s advised to wear sturdy shoes and bring water. The hike to the summit takes about 1 to 2 hours, depending on your fitness level.

  • Walking

Once you reach the top of Peak Mountain, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding islands and the ocean.
