Getting There

Car
From Taveuni's main town, Naqara, head south on the main road (Queens Road). Continue driving for approximately 20-25 minutes until you reach the junction near the Taveuni Hotel. Turn left onto the road towards Toga. After about 10 minutes, you will see a sign for Naihehe Cave. Follow the signs which will lead you to a dirt road. Drive for another 5 minutes until you reach the parking area near the cave entrance. Please note that the road can be bumpy, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended.

From the main town of Naqara, take a local bus heading towards Toga. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you are going to Naihehe Cave. The bus will drop you off at the nearest point to the cave entrance, which is a short walk from the main road. After being dropped off, walk along the dirt path for about 10 minutes following the signs to reach the cave. Be prepared for a small walking distance.
