Car
To reach Nausori Highlands by car, start from Nadi, which is about 1.5 to 2 hours away. Head east on the Queens Road (Highway 1) towards Suva. As you approach Suva, follow the signs for Nausori and then take the turnoff towards the Nausori Highlands. The roads can be winding and steep, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountainous terrain. Note that a 4WD vehicle is recommended. There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transport
From Nadi, take a bus heading to Suva from the Nadi Bus Station. The bus fare is generally around FJD 10-15 and will take approximately 2-3 hours. Once you reach Suva, transfer to a local minibus heading towards Nausori. The fare for the minibus is about FJD 2-5. Inform the driver you want to get off at Nausori Highlands. Be prepared for a wait between buses, and ensure to check the schedule ahead of time.
4WD Tour
For a more guided experience, consider booking a 4WD tour to Nausori Highlands. Contact local tour operators like 'Uniquely Fiji' who specialize in highland tours.
