From the center of Rakiraki, head towards the main road along the coast. Follow the road northwest, passing local shops and eateries. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with Nasonggo Road. Turn left onto Nasonggo Road, which is well marked. Continue along Nasonggo Road for approximately 3 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. Look for the area marked with '73P8+M23,' which is the location of Makadru. Ask locals for directions if unsure. Walking this route is free.

Head to the main bus station in Rakiraki and inquire about buses heading towards Nasonggo. The bus ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Get off at a stop where you see signs for '73P8+M23'. You can also opt for a local taxi from Rakiraki. Confirm with the driver that they know the location of Makadru before starting your journey. Bus fare is approximately FJD 1-3, and a taxi ride may cost around FJD 10-15.
