The reserve is open year-round, offering unique seasonal experiences, from vibrant autumn foliage to snow-covered winter landscapes. Facilities include four dry toilets, several campfire sites with firewood, a lean-to shelter near Lake Valkeajärvi, and a cabin on the shore of Lake Alinen Ritajärvi. The area is well-maintained, with duckboards and guideposts enhancing the recreational experience.
