Getting there

Car

From Levi, start by driving southeast on the E4 road. This is the main highway connecting you to other parts of Finland. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at Kittilä. Take the exit onto Route 79 towards Kuusa. Drive along Route 79 for approximately 50 kilometers. You will then see signs for Kuusa. As you enter Kuusa, follow the local signs directing you to Vilppulantie. Varjola is located at Vilppulantie 51, which will be on your right side.

Public Transportation

From Levi, you can take a bus to Kittilä. The bus station is located near the center of Levi. Buses to Kittilä operate regularly, so check the latest schedule for times. Once in Kittilä, transfer to a bus heading to Kuusa. The bus journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arriving in Kuusa, walk or take a taxi to Vilppulantie 51. The distance from the Kuusa bus station to Varjola is about 5 kilometers.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Levi to Varjola. This option provides door-to-door service and is convenient, especially if you are traveling with luggage. Taxis are available in Levi, and the drive will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around €100-€150 for the journey.
