Exhibition Centre WeeGee is a dynamic museum, exhibition, and event center located in Tapiola, Espoo. The building itself is a landmark of Finnish constructivist architecture, designed by Professor Aarno Ruusuvuori. Originally the Weilin&Göös printing house, it has been transformed into a cultural destination that attracts around 300,000 visitors annually.WeeGee is home to several museums, including EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art, which showcases Finnish and international modernism, contemporary art, and design. KAMU – Espoo City Museum, preserves and displays the history of Espoo from the Stone Age to the present day. In addition to the museums, WeeGee hosts the Mauri Kunnas exhibition, dedicated to the beloved Finnish author and illustrator. Visitors can also explore the Futuro House, a unique utopian space designed by Matti Suuronen, open during the summer season.The center also houses the Tapio Wirkkala Rut Bryk Foundation's collection at Visible Storage, a space that combines a storehouse, exhibition, and workspace. Collection Kakkonen displays an impressive collection of Finnish glass and ceramics. The EMMA Shop offers souvenirs, and Café Zoceria WeeGee provides refreshments. WeeGee's history is closely tied to the Weilin&Göös publishing company, which was established in the 19th century to publish textbooks in Finnish. The building's architecture reflects its past, with a clean-lined, minimalist design.
