Public Transport

Start your journey at the nearest metro station, 'Aalto-yliopisto'. From there, take the metro line M1 towards 'Mellunmäki'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Leppävaara' station. Once you exit the metro, head to the bus stop located outside the station. Look for bus number 245 or 246, which will take you towards 'Kaitalampi'. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Kaitalampi' bus stop, and from there, it’s a short walk to the lake.

Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of Leppävaara, you can walk to Kaitalampi. From Leppävaara, head east on 'Leppävaarankatu'. After about 1 km, turn left onto 'Kaitalammintie'. Continue along this road for another 800 meters until you reach Kaitalampi Lake. The walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes, and it’s a pleasant route through local parks and residential areas.

Bicycling

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services available in Espoo. Start from the center of Espoo and follow the cycling paths towards 'Leppävaara'. Once you reach Leppävaara, take 'Kaitalammintie' as described in the walking guidance. The total cycling distance is about 5 km and should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
