Car
If you are traveling by car, first make your way to the Helsinki city center. From there, head towards the South Harbor (Eteläsatama) where you will find the ferry terminal for Suomenlinna. There is no direct road access to Suomenlinna, so you will need to park your car in one of the nearby parking facilities (like the Q-Park Kaivopuisto) and walk to the ferry terminal. The ferry ride to Suomenlinna takes approximately 15–20 minutes, and tickets can be purchased at the terminal or online. Once you arrive at Suomenlinna, follow the signs to the Ehrensvärd Museum, which is located at Suomenlinna B40.
Public Transportation
To reach the Ehrensvärd Museum using public transportation, first take the metro or bus to the center of Helsinki, specifically to the South Harbor (Eteläsatama). From there, you can catch a ferry to Suomenlinna. It's important to buy a ticket for the ferry, which can be done at the terminal or via the HSL mobile app. The ferry ride lasts about 15–20 minutes.
