If you are driving from anywhere in the Helsinki Archipelago, head towards the mainland using the nearest ferry service. Once you reach Helsinki, follow signs for the city center (Keskusta). Use the main roads, such as the E18 or E12, leading into Helsinki. Park your car at one of the public parking garages near the city center, such as the Q-Park Unioninkatu or EuroPark. From there, it’s a short walk to Helsinki Cathedral, located at Unioninkatu 29, 00170 Helsinki.

To reach Helsinki Cathedral using public transportation, first make your way to the nearest ferry terminal in the Helsinki Archipelago, such as the Market Square (Kauppatori). Take a ferry to the Helsinki mainland. Once you arrive, head to the nearest tram stop or bus terminal. You can take tram lines 2 or 3 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Kaisaniemi' stop and walk about 10 minutes to reach the Cathedral at Unioninkatu 29. If you prefer, you can also take a bus that goes to the 'Senate Square' which is very close to the Cathedral.
