Getting There

  • Train

    From Helsinki, take a train from Helsinki Central Station (Helsingin päärautatieasema) to Turku. Trains to Turku depart frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival at Turku railway station, exit the station.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, you can take a bus from Helsinki to Turku. Buses leave from the Helsinki Bus Station (Lauttasaarentie 1) and the journey takes around 2 to 2.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Turku Bus Station, exit the station.

  • Walking from Turku Railway/Bus Station to Turku Market Square

    From either the Turku Railway Station or Turku Bus Station, head southwest on the main road, which is Ratapihankatu. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Aurakatu. Turn left onto Aurakatu and follow it until you reach Kauppatori (Market Square). The Market Square will be on your left after a short walk of about 15-20 minutes.
