Getting There

  • Walking

    From Kamppi, walk towards the Kamppi Metro Station. Exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located right next to it. Look for signs directing you to the ferry terminal. This area is well-marked, and you should see signs for the 'Helsinki Ferry Terminal' or 'Suomenlinna.'

  • Public Transport (Metro + Ferry)

    Take the metro from Kamppi Metro Station (M1 or M2 lines) towards either 'Ruoholahti' or 'Vaisalmi' direction. Get off at 'Kaisaniemi' station (only 1 stop). From there, follow the signs to the ferry terminal at the end of the street. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Suomenlinna at the ticket office or via the HSL app (approximately €5-€7 for a round trip). Once you have your ticket, board the ferry, and enjoy the scenic ride over to Suomenlinna, which takes about 15-20 minutes.

    Alternatively, you can walk directly to the Market Square (Kauppatori) from Kamppi, which is about 1.5 km away. At the Market Square, locate the ferry terminal where ferries to Suomenlinna depart regularly.
