Walking
If you are in the city center, head towards the Pohjoisesplanadi street. You can start from the Helsinki Central Station. From the station, exit and walk towards the direction of the main street, Kaivokatu. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout with the statue of Alexander II. From there, take the path leading to the Esplanadi park area. The park entrance is on your left, and you will see lush greenery and benches once you enter.

Public Transport - Tram
If you are further away in the city, take Tram 3 or Tram 7 from any tram stop near you. Both trams will take you towards the Esplanadi area. Get off at the 'Kansalaistori' or 'Pohjoisesplanadi' tram stop. Once you exit the tram, you will be right at the edge of Esplanadi park. Walk towards the park entrance which is marked by beautiful trees and walkways.

Take the Metro to 'Kaisaniemi' station. Exit the metro and follow the signs to the city center (Keskusta). Once you are above ground, walk towards the direction of the Esplanadi park, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head along the streets towards the direction of 'Pohjoisesplanadi' street, and you will find the entrance to the park along the way. The park will be on your left side.
