To reach Mäyrävuori Trail from Jyväskylä city center, head to Jyväskylä bus station at Vapaudenkatu 48. Take bus number 12 towards Jämsä. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Kylänpää' stop, the closest to the trail. A single bus fare costs approximately €3-4.

Walking

From the Jääskelä nature trail parking lot (Jääskeläntie), walk about 400 meters to the starting point of the path towards Mäyrävuori. Backtrack about 200 meters from the parking lot, past the intersection where it says Mäyrävuori on the map. The path is on the west side of the road, a small footpath uphill.

To reach the summit, it's recommended to park at the Jääskelä nature trail parking lot on Jääskeläntie, followed by a short walk to the path towards Mäyrävuori. The Jääskelä nature trail itself is worth exploring, adding about five kilometers to your adventure.
