Walking
If you are starting from Kuopio Market Square (Kauppatori), head southeast on Kauppakatu toward Koulukatu. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Kumpulantie. Turn left onto Kumpulantie and follow it for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Väinölänniemi. Turn right onto Väinölänniemi and walk for approximately 500 meters. The Hannes Kolehmainen Statue will be on your left at Väinölänniemi 26.

From Kuopio Market Square (Kauppatori), you can take bus number 7 or 9 towards Ruokolahti. Get off at the Väinölänniemi stop. From the bus stop, walk about 100 meters back towards the direction of the bus you just came from, and the Hannes Kolehmainen Statue will be located at Väinölänniemi 26 on your right.

If you have a bicycle, start from Kuopio Market Square (Kauppatori) and take the bike path along Kauppakatu towards Koulukatu. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. At the Kumpulantie intersection, turn left and cycle for about 300 meters. Turn right onto Väinölänniemi and continue cycling for another 500 meters. The Hannes Kolehmainen Statue will be on your left at Väinölänniemi 26.
