    From the Kuopio city center, walk east along Puijonkatu, then turn left onto Yliopistonkatu. Continue onto Yliopistonranta. The sculpture is located off the shore, near the University of Eastern Finland campus. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and takes about 25 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    From the Kuopio city center, take a local Vilkku bus towards the University of Eastern Finland (Yliopisto). Several bus lines serve this route. Alight at a stop along Yliopistonranta. From there, the sculpture is a short walk away. A single ticket within Kuopio (Zone A) costs €3.35 when using a Waltti card or €4.75 when paying with cash.

  • Driving

    From Kuopio city center, drive east on Puijonkatu, then turn left onto Yliopistonkatu, which becomes Yliopistonranta. Limited parking is available along Yliopistonranta. Paid parking is enforced on weekdays from 6:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 8:00 to 16:00. Parking costs approximately €1 per hour, with a maximum of €6 per day. Parking is free at other times.
