Public Transport

From Kuopio city center, head to the Kuopio bus station. Take bus number 2 (or another bus heading toward the Riistavesi area). Check the bus schedule beforehand for accurate timings. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Ritoniementie' stop. From there, walk along Ritoniementie for about 1.5 kilometers to reach Ritoniemi Beach at Ritoniementie 479. A single bus ticket within Kuopio costs €4 for adults.

Walking

For those who enjoy walking, start from the Kuopio city center and head towards the lakeside promenade. Walk north along the waterfront path until you reach the end of the promenade. From there, follow the signs towards Riistavesi. It is a scenic walk that will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Ritoniementie, walk along the road for about 1.5 kilometers to reach Ritoniemi Beach at Ritoniementie 479.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Kuopio. Start at the city center and head towards the lakefront. Follow the designated bike paths that lead towards Riistavesi. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Ritoniemi. Continue along Ritoniementie for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the beach at Ritoniementie 479.
