Walking
Maretarium is located in Kotka city center, near Sapokka Water Garden. From the central bus station, walk east along Keskuskatu, then turn right onto Sapokankatu. The aquarium will be on your left in a few minutes. This walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. No costs involved.
Public Transport
Local buses in Kotka, operated by Jonne & Minne, serve the Maretarium area. Check the Kotka Region Journey Planner for the most up-to-date schedules and routes. A single ticket within Kotka (Zone A) costs approximately €3.30. From the Kotka railway station, take any bus that stops near the Kotkan tori (market square) and walk for 5 minutes.

A taxi from the Kotka railway station to Maretarium is a short ride, approximately 2 kilometers, costing around €10-€15. Taxi stands are available at the train station.
Parking
If driving, parking is available near Maretarium. Free parking can be found at Juha Vainion katu. Alternatively, paid parking is available at P-Pasaatin Toriparkki, with rates starting at €1.10 for the first hour. Sokos Hotel Seurahuone Kotka also offers parking for €15/day.
