Myllykulmankoski Rapids, or Virenoja Rapids, presents a refreshing natural sight along the Porvoonjoki River, located just north of Orimattila. The rapids showcase water flowing over a wide, rocky terrain, creating both vertical drops and gentler slopes. The water accelerates before the falls and foams intensely afterward, adding to the dynamic scenery. The total length of the rapids stretches 190 meters, with a total drop of 6 meters, including a main waterfall of approximately 3 meters. Historically, the site was known for its mills, with the first one established as early as 1586, and milling operations continued until the 1970s.
