Car
If you're driving, head towards Mikkeli from your location in Lake Saimaa. Follow the signs for Route 5 (E18) towards Mikkeli. Once you reach Mikkeli, take the exit for Route 62 towards Jyvaskyla. Continue on Route 62 for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Neitvuori; you will turn onto a smaller road leading to the hill. The parking area is clearly marked, and there may be a small fee for parking, typically around €2 for the day.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take a bus from your nearest bus station to Mikkeli. Make sure to check the schedules as they vary depending on the day. Once in Mikkeli, you can catch a local bus heading towards Jyvaskyla that stops near Neitvuori Hill. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop for Neitvuori. From the bus stop, it's about a 1.5 km walk to the hill, following the signs that guide you to the nature preserve.
