From Joensuu city center, take local bus number 1 or 5 towards Marjala. Check the JOJO public transport website or app for the most up-to-date schedules. A single bus fare is approximately €3. From the bus stop in Marjala, it is a short 10-minute walk to the museum at Virrantaus 7.

If walking from Joensuu city center, begin at the Joensuu Market Square. Head southwest on Kauppakatu, continuing until you reach Suvantokatu. Turn right onto Suvantokatu and walk for about 1.2 kilometers. Turn left onto Virrantaus street and continue for approximately 500 meters. The museum will be on your right. The walk takes approximately 25-30 minutes.

If driving, navigate to Virrantaus 7, 80140 Joensuu. From the center of Joensuu, head southwest on Kauppakatu toward Suvantokatu. Turn right onto Suvantokatu and continue for about 1.2 kilometers. Then, turn left onto Virrantaus street. The Joensuu Bunker Museum will be on your right. Free parking is available near the museum.
