    From Kurikka city center, drive north on Highway 3 (Tampereentie) for approximately 8 km. The Luova Observation Tower will be visible on your left. Turn left onto Louvankuja and follow the signs to the parking area at the base of Loukajanvuori. From the parking area, it's a short walk up a maintained road to the tower. Note that the final section of the road may be blocked by a boom, but a key can be obtained by contacting Tapio Ropponen at +358 400 217 208 or +358 45 203 7137. There are no tolls or parking fees.

    While there is no direct public transport to the Luova Observation Tower, you can take a bus from Kurikka to the village of Luova. From the Luova bus stop on Tampereentie, walk approximately 1.5 km north on Louvankuja to reach the tower. Check local bus schedules for accurate timings and costs. Completed in 2005 by the Luova Village Association, the tower rises 28 meters above the summit of Loukajanvuori, which itself stands 141 meters above sea level. This vantage point provides visitors with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, characterized by the vast, flat plains typical of Ostrobothnia. The tower was constructed on the site of an old triangulation tower and has become a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The tower is accessible year-round and is free to use, making it an inviting spot for spontaneous visits. Near the tower's base, visitors can find two freely accessible laavus (lean-to shelters) and a rentable kota (a traditional Lappish hut), enhancing the site's appeal for outdoor activities. Firewood is usually available, with a voluntary donation system in place to support restocking. Loukajanvuori and its observation tower also offer additional attractions. A nature trail winds around the area, showcasing 50 different tree species. In winter, a 250-meter-long sledding hill provides fun for all ages.
