    If you are in the city center of Oulu, start at the Oulu Market Square (Kauppatori). From the square, head east along Kirkkokatu street until you reach the intersection with Vanhatulli street. Turn left onto Vanhatulli and continue until you reach the Oulu River. You will see a pedestrian bridge (Rautasilta) ahead; cross the bridge. After crossing, follow the riverbank path heading south. This path will lead you directly towards Oulu Castle. As you approach, you will see the castle on your right. The address of Oulu Castle is Linnansaari 1, 90100 Oulu.

  • Public Transport

    From Oulu Bus Station, take bus number 20 or 21 heading towards Linnanmaa. Get off at the 'Linnanmaa' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers. Head southwest on Linnanmaantie road until you reach the junction with Hupisaarentie. Turn right onto Hupisaarentie and continue walking until you reach Oulu Castle, which will be on your left. The address is Linnansaari 1, 90100 Oulu.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations around the city. Start from Oulu Market Square and head east along Kirkkokatu street.
