Getting There

Public Bus

From Oulu city center, head to the Oulu Bus Station. Take bus number 36 towards 'Rautavaara' or 'Kaakkuri'. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Miehonseläntie' stop. From there, walk approximately 1 kilometer along Miehonseläntie road, following the signs that indicate the direction to Pilpasuo. The nature preserve is located on the left side of the road.
Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the rental spots in Oulu. Head towards the Oulu University area and follow the cycling paths. You will cycle along the route towards Miehonseläntie. Keep following the signs or your GPS to guide you. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace. Pilpasuo will be located on your left side as you approach Miehonseläntie 190-256.
Walking

If you prefer to walk, start from the Oulu city center and head northwest towards Miehonseläntie. It is approximately a 5-kilometer walk, which would take around 1 hour. Follow the pedestrian paths and look for signs directing you to Miehonseläntie. Once you reach Miehonseläntie, continue walking until you find the entrance to Pilpasuo, which is about 1 kilometer further down the road.
