From Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, head south on Route 79 towards Muonio. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit onto Route 21 towards Rovaniemi. Continue for another 40 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 5. Turn left onto Route 5 and drive for about 30 kilometers, following signs to Tolva. Once you reach Tolva, follow the signs to Riisitunturi National Park. The park's entrance is located at Riisitunturintie, 97925 Tolva. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, so check for any required passes or costs upon arrival.

To reach Riisitunturi National Park via public transportation, start from the nearest bus station in Muonio. Take a bus heading towards Rovaniemi. Once in Rovaniemi, transfer to a bus that goes to Tolva. The bus ride from Muonio to Tolva may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the schedule. After arriving in Tolva, you will need to walk approximately 5 kilometers to the park entrance at Riisitunturintie, 97925 Tolva. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently, especially on weekends.
