Car
From the Riisitunturi National Park visitor center, take the road leading south towards Kuusamo. Continue on the main road, following the signs for Kuusamo for approximately 20 kilometers. As you approach Kuusamo, keep an eye out for the Kitkantie road signs. Turn left onto Kitkantie and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will find Petäjälammen Herkku located on the right side at Kitkantie 135.

From the Riisitunturi National Park, you will need to take a bus to Kuusamo. Check the local bus schedule for departures from the nearest bus stop in the park. Buses to Kuusamo run approximately every 1-2 hours. Once you arrive at the Kuusamo bus station, you can either take a taxi or walk. If walking, head east on Kumpulantie, then turn right onto Kitkantie and walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Petäjälammen Herkku at Kitkantie 135.
