Getting There

  • Walking

    From the city center of Rovaniemi, head northeast on Korkalonkatu towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the riverbank. Once you reach the water, turn left onto the riverside path (Pohjoisranta). Follow the path along the river for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the Arktikum building on your right at Pohjoisranta 4.

    Find the nearest bus stop in Rovaniemi, such as the Rovaniemi Bus Station. Take bus line 8 towards Rovaniemi - Arktikum. The bus will take you directly to Arktikum, and the journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Arktikum' stop, and the museum will be right in front of you.

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the city center towards the river. Head northeast on Korkalonkatu, then take a left onto the riverside path. Continue cycling along Pohjoisranta for about 1 kilometer until you arrive at Arktikum, located at Pohjoisranta 4.
