Walking
Start from the center of Rovaniemi, ideally at the Rovaniemi Tourist Information Center located at Valtakatu 24. From there, head east on Valtakatu until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight onto Koskikatu and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself on the other side of the river. Continue on the bike path that runs parallel to the road, which will lead you towards Ounasvaara. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see signage for Ounasvaara. Follow the signs as they lead you up the hill towards the observation tower.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Rovaniemi. Start from the city center and take the bike path along Koskikatu. Cycle across the bridge over the river and continue following the bike path that meanders through the forest. After cycling for about 2 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the path; take the left path that leads up the hill towards Ounasvaara. Continue cycling uphill for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Ounasvaara Observation Tower.

From the Rovaniemi city center, take bus number 8 towards Ounasvaara. The bus stop is located near the Tourist Information Center. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Ounasvaara stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs leading to the observation tower, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the bus stop. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy scenic views on your way.
