From Ruka, head south on the E63 highway (Route 5) towards Kuusamo. Continue on E63 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction for Myllykoskentie. Turn left onto Myllykoskentie and follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for signs for Myllykoski Rapids, which will lead you to the parking area near the rapids.

Upon arrival at Kuusamo, transfer to a local bus that goes towards Myllykoskentie. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Myllykoski Rapids. The entire journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on connections.
