From central Savo, head towards Leppävirta. If you're coming from Kuopio, take Route 5 (E63) northbound. Follow the signs for Leppävirta. Once you reach Leppävirta, turn onto Vokkolantie. The Moomin Ice Cave is located at Vokkolantie 1, 79100 Leppävirta. There is parking available on-site.

If you're traveling by public transport, take a train or bus to Leppävirta. From Kuopio, you can take a bus operated by OnniBus or local transport services. Once you arrive at Leppävirta bus station, you can either walk to Moomin Ice Cave, which is approximately 3 kilometers away (about a 30-minute walk), or check for local taxi services that can take you directly to Vokkolantie 1.
