Getting There

• Car

  To reach Porvoo Old Town by car from Savo, start by taking the E75 highway southbound. Continue on the E75 until you reach the junction for the E18 towards Porvoo/Helsinki. Follow the E18 for approximately 30 kilometers. Take the exit towards Porvoo and follow the signs to the city center. Once in Porvoo, look for signs directing you to the Old Town, which is located at the address 06100 Porvoo. Parking is available in the Old Town area, but may incur a fee, so be prepared with some change or a parking app.

  If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Savo to the nearest train station that services the Helsinki route, such as Kuopio or Lahti. From there, take a train to Helsinki Central Station. Once in Helsinki, transfer to the bus terminal located adjacent to the train station.
